Hello Spring

Dear Rotarians, Family, and Friends,

Welcome to the April 2025 edition of our newsletter! With spring in the air and Easter fast approaching, I hope you enjoy this latest issue.

Over the past month, our club has been buzzing with activity—embracing fellowship, participating in marathons, and celebrating at carnival parties. However, we also take a moment to remember George Heads, the beloved husband of our fellow Rotarian, Carol. George was a steadfast supporter of Carol and our club, and we are truly grateful for his kindness and dedication. Our heartfelt condolences go out to Carol and her family during this difficult time.

Looking ahead, a friendly reminder about the upcoming EuroMeeting in Bochum, Germany—please ensure you’ve made your bookings!

As we prepare for Easter, I wish you and your loved ones a joyful and peaceful celebration.

March 2025 Fellowship

Club members visiting the new Friends Hospice in Paphos

For many years, the Paphos Aphrodite Rotary Club has proudly supported the Friends’ Hospice Paphos. On March 14, 2025, our club members had the opportunity to visit the hospice for an introduction and tour. We were deeply impressed by the remarkable work and dedication of the hospice team in creating such a compassionate and well-managed facility.

Timo at the Logicom Marathon

Club president Timo Trog represented the Paphos Aphrodite Rotary Club at the Logicom Half-Marathon, 7th March 2025 and finished the race in 2:22 hours. Well done and congratulations

Andre meets RI president

Greeting from President Stephanie. We had a lovely excursion and exploration of Troodos followed by a welcoming dinner tonight (29.02.2025). Many Rotarian friends are here, from Armenia, Georgia, Lebanon, Jordan, Italy, the North… tomorrow morning the workshop will start.
