We are thrilled to share a summary of the EuroMeeting 2024, a wonderful weekend of fellowship, collaboration, and Rotary spirit that brought together Rotarians from across Europe. With the dedicated contributions of our members and the warm participation of our guests, this event was a true celebration of Rotary values.
Our Goal:
The EuroMeeting aimed to provide a platform for fellowship among European Rotary Clubs, reviving connections with old partners and building bridges with new ones. It served as a foundation for future collaborations while fostering enduring friendships.
Our Guests:
We had the pleasure of hosting:
- 18 Rotarians from established and new partner clubs in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Sweden, Estonia, and Poland.
- 6 visiting Rotarians from the UK.
A Warm Welcome:
Our international guests were warmly greeted by:
- 11 Rotarians from the Paphos Aphrodite Rotary Club, along with their partners and friends, making a total of 57 attendees.
- Special guests: PDG Christina, IDG Peter, Past Vice President RI Nicki, P Nairy (RC Aspelia), and the Mayor of Paphos.
- The exceptional team at the Anemi Hotel, who provided outstanding hospitality.

The Program:
The weekend featured a variety of memorable events, including:
- A welcome on the Wavedancer cruise.
- The official opening cocktail.
- House parties hosted by Andre, Carol, Elena, Pantelis, and Timo.
- A charming village excursion.
- A spectacular Gala Dinner.
- The Executive Meeting and Farewell Gathering.
Each event was an opportunity to connect, share experiences, and strengthen bonds while upholding Rotary's mission of service and fellowship.
The Outcome:
The EuroMeeting 2024 was a resounding success! Guests departed with cherished memories, a renewed commitment to Rotary ideals, and exciting plans for the future:
- Estonia and Poland have expressed enthusiasm for continuing the Euromeeting tradition.
- Plans are underway for a Mini EuroMeeting in January 2025 in Poland, featuring a Charity Gala.
- Estonia will host the EuroMeeting 2026.
