On Saturday June 22nd we had our Handover Dinner at Palia ILektriki Restaurant-cafe
We started the evening by presenting cheques to two of the main charities we support, The Friends Hospice and The Autistic Society. PP Ian welcomed our guests Christine Burling RIDN, PDG Christina Covotsou-Patroclou, PPs Joachim and Nairy from Nicosia Aspelia RC, our AG Snezana Cvetkovic and P Jelena from Limassol Berengaria Cosmopolitan RC and Claudia from Rotary E Club Silicon Valley.
After a delicious buffet dinner thanks to Vasillia and Vassos, President Reda Youssef handed over the chain of office to our incoming President Timo Trog.
We had another special event during the evening as we welcomed our newest member Andre Passon who was pinned by P Timo.
Our new President is full of exciting new ideas and initiatives and we are sure will have a very successful year. Andre has already shown himself to be a keen and enthusiastic member and we are all looking forward to a new year for our Club.
